Early booker discount for mandatory asbestos training

26 Jun 2014

Do your staff ever place fibrous asbestos into skips? Then they must receive dangerous goods transport awareness training.

This is because Health and Safety law states that EVERYBODY involved in any way in the transport of bagged asbestos waste in any quantity must be trained in dangerous goods transport awareness, which must be relevant to their job. As well as those loading dangerous goods into skips, this also includes drivers moving exempt loads (all other drivers must hold an ADR licence) and crew travelling in the same vehicle as fibrous asbestos waste, as well as management, supervisors, admin staff and storemen.

To help you to achieve compliance for all relevant staff, we are holding another one day course on Friday 15th August at the ARCA Training Centre in Rayleigh.

Costs are £130 + VAT per delegate, which includes lunch. If you book three places or more, we will give you a £30 discount per delegate for bookings received before 11th July. Certificates are valid for two years and will be issued to all delegates.

Contact us for a booking form to secure your place(s) a.s.a.p..

Please note that we believe that this is the only course available which complies with the H&S legislation (referred to as ADR 1.3) which is tailored for the asbestos and demolition industries. It relates specifically to the transport of asbestos (whether it is to be transported in a van or placed in a skip for carriage by others) and is not covered in the standard operative, supervisor and management training.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this mandatory training.
